I just got a Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB. I have a new MacBook Intel with Mac OS 10.4. I am running Windows XP SP2 under Parallels. Using Windows, I followed your procedure above and received the results you detailed. However, then I downloaded the latest firmware update and the Zen woke up. It took the latest update without trouble. Can the creative zen vision:M 30gb mp3 player work on an imac? I got one of these when it first came out and could not work it on my mac, so used my friends pc to put music on it, now i am looking to get a new mp3 player as my last one was stolen by some no good rotter of a human being!

Creative Zen Vision M screen is not displaying

You cannot use your device because the screen is damaged.

If your Creative Zen Vision M screen keeps freezing, try pushing the reset button. The reset button is located at the bottom next to the power charger. The button is very small you will need a paper clip or needle to push the reset button.

If you are attempting to play movie files of a different file format or larger file size than the specifications listed above this is likely the issue. If you are still experiencing issues after converting to a WMV file, try ensuring that your file is less than 1 GB.
